"It's been a busy week for our team at Bryant's Electrical, as we've had another emergency service call involving a power outage in Fairview, Red Deer. This time, one of our customers noticed that their lights and furnace were without power, and after a quick troubleshooting session, we determined that the issue was with a lost leg of power distribution.
If you've ever noticed that half your house is without power, one thing you can try is turning on your oven. If the oven control is on but the oven won't heat up, it could be a sign that you've lost a leg of electricity. This is exactly what happened to our customer this week, and we were happy to be able to help them out.
One of the key steps we took to help this customer was to change their furnace over to a different leg of power until full power was restored. This allowed them to stay warm and comfortable during the cold winter weather, with temperatures reaching as low as -43 with wind-chill.
In addition to addressing the immediate issue, we also recommended the use of surge protectors to our customer. Surge protectors are a simple and effective way to protect your home's electrical system from voltage spikes, which can cause damage to appliances and electronics. -
Even though it was very cold last night, with a wind-chill of -43°C, our team was more than willing to come out at 12:30pm to help our customer. At Bryant's Electrical, we understand the importance of reliable electricity, and we're always ready to provide emergency service when it's needed.
If you're experiencing any electrical issues in your home, don't hesitate to give us a call at (403)588-0498 during office hours or (587)432-2263 after hours. We're always here to help, and we'll work quickly to get your power back on and keep your home safe and comfortable."
